Children's Book Week is November 13-19.
One of the greatest gifts we can give a young person is the love and skill of reading.
Our display in the Youth Services area invites youngsters to tell us their favorite book.
I remember the entitlement I felt when I got my first library card. I badgered my Mom to take me to the library; it was so liberating when I was able to ride my bike across town by myself.
With all the distractions in today's busy world, let's not forget to take a child to the library.

Library Expansion Plans
At a meeting on Monday, November 6, 2006, the Architects from Arcari & Iovino presented the completed drawings of the Design Development Phase. The building footprint is set. A drawing is on display in the Library, and additional information is on our webpage. Following review by key Township Departments and Library Officials, the Architects will begin the preparation of Bid Documents. It is expected that the project will go out to bid January-February 2007. A contractor will be approved and retained in March and construction will commence in April 2007.
